30年程住んでいた町に、シンボル的な池を持った都立公園があります。 私が子供の頃その池には、運が悪いと沈みそうな、不器用な人が作った笹舟みたいなボートが(今は屋根付きのスワンボートになりました。)ありました。でも特別な日だけ乗せてもらえたことが嬉しかった記憶があります。
In the town where I lived for about 30 years, there is a metropolitan park with a symbolic pond. When I was a child, there was a boat in the pond that seemed to sink if you were unlucky. It looked like a bamboo boat made by a clumsy person. (It's now a covered swan boat. ) But I remember being happy because I was allowed to ride on it only on special occasions.
